Years and years ago, like my daughter was around 4-5 when I applied for Avon for the first time. In my head it sounded easy, I mean after all they give you an online store, and you get to sell makeup and household goodies to your friend and any customers you may acquire- Right?
This was in the days before Tick Tock, and you tube was much too intimidating at the time. Video Editing? Ugh. No thanks. So, I did my best- created a Facebook page and tried posting on that daily. I had some consistent customers, but overall, was spending more than I made, so considering we were low income at the time, I just closed my store.

But now, we have Ticktock, and youtube shorts, and I have my blog with consistent followers. And honestly, there is still stuff from Avon that I’d love to get consistently because it works so well. So, I figured I would give it another shot, especially considering it was free to set up my own online store. Will it be successful? I have no idea. But whatever I make will be going straight to Daniels medical bills.

I have new ideas this time around. If I’m unable to do in person sales, I’ll be honest right from the get go. Because honestly, the folks who are able to do in person sales, have built up some stock for best sellers, where as I am unable to do that right now. Oh sure, I’ll get the brochures to distribute at work and potentially other places. And If the want me to order online for them, I’ll be requiring payment first. I’ve learned from my failures of the past and I plan on making things better this time around. Because this time, my family is relying on me a lot more. And I can not let them down.
