Embrace the Change: Tips for a Seamless Transition into Fall
Where we are in Northern California, its taking longer for it to warm up, so your finally starting to see some of the cute fall outfits now. Personally, I’ve finally dug out my Ugg fuzzy boots, and my favorite pair of borderline PJ leggings.
I’ve started to notice that at 6:45 when I’m typically checking my garden, its still pitched black outside. So I’ve had to check my garden when I get home at 3:30, because its still daylight, so I can still see how its doing.
Those are the things that tell me fall has started in the north state. Oh sure, the trees are finally changing colors now too. Were also starting to see Rain predicted in the forcast more often now as well.
Not everyone is ready for a fall weather though. So if your having trouble getting in that fall Vibe, here are some ideas for you:
Get a fall outfit:
This one is mostly for the gals, but get yourself a cute new fall outfit. Personally, my mother in law and a few co workers went through closest and I was given a few things I liked, and I was able to put together a cute fall outfit to get me in the fall mood.
Seasonal Coffee Creamers/Starbucks
Get yourself one of the seasonal creamers, or coffees from Starbucks. Were at the time of year where we will have pumpkin spice or peppermint flavored creamers and coffee Everywhere. It fits the mood even better if you get a warm coffee in the cool crisp air.
Make some Soup!
When it starts to get colder outside, there’s nothing I enjoy making more than soup. epically potato soup. (which I’ll be having a recipe for in the upcoming weeks )
Don’t let the Christmas decorators fool you, it is still fall! Enjoy the Fall weather a bit before jumping right into the Christmas season. For us in Northern California, its just now recently started to even feel like fall!
How do you like getting ready for fall?
