When Dani was born, my doula was a godsend and blessed me with help cleaning my house. She helped me clean my bathroom and my kitchen, and with her she brought her mop. At first I thought it was overkill, until I saw how my floors looked afterwards! I was stunned at how clean my bathroom and kitchen looked like afterwards.
I’m pretty sure Daniel thought I had knocked some screws loose when I sent him a link to a steam mop that was $100.00. But he said I could go ahead and get one, so I was quick to hit that buy button before he could change his mind.
Originally I wanted to get the same make and model that my friend had, because it has served her well in the years she had it. And she was a professional cleaner for years, so I trust her. Daniel however didn’t want me spending that price without having a chance to see himself the value in it. Epically since were trying to save money and move. So I chose a cheaper model to see if I liked it. I can remember my mom buying Bissel products when I was a kid, and they were always well built, so I am confidence in my choice being a good starter.
This steam mop, which is a trusty Bissel was easy to put together, and came with two of the Rags your supposed to attach to it, that way you can always have a clean one. Inside the rag, is even a pocket where you can put ‘Scent pucks’ to leave your floor feeling and smelling nice and clean. Which, the rag is easy to put on and take off, and the mop itself is ready in just a couple minutes.
With the added scrub brush for stuck on gunk I was honestly astonished at how good of a job it did on my floors. I went from having 2-3 mops, to only 1. Since buying it, I have been able to maintain the floors of my home and make sure that they are always clean, which I know my family appreciates. For anyone who struggles with the time it takes to clean your house or mop your floors, I would 100% recommend this steam mop.
