Easy Snacks for Picky Eaters
When I first was diagnosed with PCOS I ate Horribly. In some regards I still do at times. But since this last miscarriage, I have a hard goal to get much better at it. Here are a few of my go-to’s.
Parmesan Crisps
This one is super easy, and you don’t have to do it with Parmesan. I’ve done it with Cheddar too. I take pre-shredded cheese, and line a baking dish with Parchment paper, making small (or large) piles of cheese, baking it at 350 for approximately 10 minutes, give or take a minute. These are crunchy like chips, and they are absolutely addicting!
Eggs
And this is a great snack, simply because its protein, and you can do so much with eggs. Make the popular Egg flights, or just do what I do and eat them plain or with a small amount of salt. Usually I’ll have 2 Boiled eggs with my lunch, and some always made as a good go-to snack. And if plain boiled eggs get boring, you can make Soy sauce Eggs, or pickled eggs, for that little pop of flavor. Don’t let being healthy automatically make that mean you cant have flavor in your food at the same time.
cheese and Ham Rollup
I’ll typically get Black Forrest Ham or honey ham, and Roll up a stick of string cheese inside of it. The cheese has calcium that your body needs, and with the protein of the ham, its just the kind of snack your body needs to keep going.
Pickles!!!!
these get exclamation points because I love pickles just so much. Not only are they a convent snack, but they do have health benefits too! They pack Probiotics that your body needs, and they are also Gut Friendly, and Pickles are also known to have about 15% of our daily dose of Vitamin K, which helps support bone health. Now, they are also high in sodium, so while some pickles are good for you, don’t go overboard and consume too much sodium either.
Cucumber Salad
I don’t mean those ones that TikTock made popular, although I’ve had a couple of those and they’re good too. But I’m talking about the Cucumber Salad recipe I posted a while back. if you make it ahead of time, its a great salad to just take and eat,
Do you have any healthy snacks TO ADD TO THIS LIST?
