I’m Officially Published! Cue the Confetti and Coffee

When I was in high school, my English teacher tried to prep us with what we wanted to do in the real world. Well, at the time I had no interest in working with little kids, but wanted to be a writer. An author specifically. This was back before all the E- Readers too so it wasn’t nearly as easy as it was now.

My problem lied with not being able to finish anything. I’d run into a brick wall, unsure of how to continue the story, and would just let it sit in the massive amount of unfished documents I had on my laptop. I told myself that one day, one of them would be published, and later found out that some of the other great writers had this problem at first as well. But then life happened, and I met my husband, and had my daughter, and the dream of writing just got pushed back further and further.

Welcome to Kindle

And then years after my daughter was born, the first Kindle came out, and E-books started becoming more popular. It intrigued me, because I felt like it would be easier to start out on an E-Reader format. But I still had the problem of my works only getting to be half finished.

So once again, new stories still sat in an unfinished folder on my computer for a few more years. When AI technology started becoming a thing. I never would have thought that I could use it to help me through that challenging hump in my stories. Until my husband, trying to be sweet one night, sent me a story in an AI program he was testing out for his own projects. Suddenly it was like a lightbulb came on! I could submit what I had into the AI prompt, and have it suggest ways over that writers block!

So, I tried it. And the AI was able to generate a few ideas that I was able to choose from, and continue on my story, accept this time with a whole new passion, I was so close to being published and I could taste it! All the unfinished stories in my folder, could soon be finished and published thanks to AI helping me with writers block.

Some may frown upon using AI, but I’m not using AI to write the story. Simply to help me over those writers block pieces with suggestions based on what I had already written. Any words in the story are still my own.

How to read

So lets say you want to support my writing dream and read my stories. How do you do that? Well, thankfully, the kindle app is available on Android and iOS. So you don’t need a kindle reader or even a kindle tablet to read them. Any smartphone can download the app and read the stories. And if you pay for Kindle Unlimited, you can read them for free! And as long as you read a percentage of the book, if not the whole thing I still get some profit from it.

If you choose to support my book writing career as always it is appreciated.
