Growth & Greens: The Latest from My Garden
Spring will be here soon, and I’ve already started planning my plants for this year. A few of my plants such as my blackberry plant is getting new growth, a sign that its ready to bloom soon.

I have a new idea this year that I’m going to try out, and I’m feeling hopeful about it. I have a cute garden bed, but my problem is not much will grow in it. So, this year, I bought some Dandelion seeds to try out in it. I have plans with the dandelions too, salves and recipes I’d always wanted to try.
I have a hunch I will be getting more pots this year. I have my of course yearly plants I do every year, and I am going to try having a small herb garden this year too. I’ve already got some rosemary planted, and I’m just waiting for it to grow a bit.
There’s also some goals I have this year, one of them being a really cool way of taking leftover cement pillars and putting them to use! For a while, that’s what our bed was on, so we have plenty leftover that I want to find a good spot in my yard, and create a small garden bed. I haven’t decided what I’ll plant in it yet, but I’m leaning towards some flowers, or maybe some herbs. I’m also going to plant corn this year. My students planted some as a science experiment, and its starting to grow! And its just your typical popcorn kernel like corn!

I do know I want to do a bigger garden this year. I felt like every year my garden gets more successful and I’m ready to really try and yield a decently sized crop for my family. And with Daniel working I might even be able to afford more fertilizer, which I know would greatly help.
I’m really looking forward to I’m able to keep up with a bigger garden this year, epically since Daniel and I both have plans for the garden this year. So that leads me to this question. Do you have any planty plans this year? If so, what are they?
